I still have a month from yesterday till I go through this.

I'm definitely happy with going to UW. Florida/Ok State were never realistic goals for me personally.

Unrelated: Fresh, GI had an interview on their site that said Bioware may be interested in returning to Jade Empire in the future, so there's hope for you there.

Forgot I'm flexing my schedule this week to be off Saturday.

That means I would work M-F and be off Saturday & Sunday.

I have my second DEP meeting of the month tomorrow for the Navy, which I'll be taking off work for. My schedule has me listed for Saturday off and my GM just acknowledged he won't see me tomorrow. He hasn't connected the dots yet so I'll be off Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday..

I have close to 80 personal time hours accumulated anyways.. no big deal.

I got into Cornell. Then I saw the laughable amount of financial aid because of FAFSA and the fact they do very, very few merit scholarships since it is Ivy League. That dream went up in flames.

What, the whole $5,545 a semester?

It's why I left college after my first year in 2008.

First day of college was pretty sweet, all of my instructors seem like people I could actually learn from.

I also hit my elbow so hard on a wooden bench my arm burned for like a minute, that's a new one for me.

So I work a job that has flex scheduling meaning you just have to work 8 hours between 6am and 9pm. I typically get to work between 610-730, lately I've been doing 2 hours at the gym and getting to work 715-745 depending on traffic

So the other day I say screw it I've been up at 330am everyday tomorrow I'm sleeping in till 7, and with traffic and all that I pull in front of my office at 9, it's Brooklyn, so parking was nuts, so it took me 15 minutes to park, as I roll into my office I get a text saying my boss was looking for me. I ignore it, walk upstairs, go to my desk do my thing.

I get an email 15 minutes later saying "will you be joining us today?"

So I walk into my bosses office like "what's going in?"

He's all like I didn't know if something happened, you should have emailed me, I'm like...ok....at what time do you require an email, like if I am coming later than 9 u want me to email you? He's like well you come in early usually so i didn't know what was going on.

                      Thoughts?

I would've loved to go to Notre Dame, but that ****'s expensive. I got into the only two schools I applied to, University of Maryland and Towson. Ultimately chose Towson because I would leave with quite a bit less debt. I think I made the right choice.

Cherish that while you have it. I go to the U of Minnesota, and I've felt like I kind of got the short straw on some of my profs. I've had brilliant profs, but for some of them, if they're not talking about their research, they are about as interesting as a doorknob. And some of them you just straight up CANNOT understand.

There have been plenty of pluses to going here, I love the campus, the big city feel and everything (I think we're one of the 5 biggest universities in the country, as far as enrollment), but one of the negatives has definitely been how impersonal some of my profs have been. It's like teaching is really a chore for some of them, and their research is the only reason they are there.

OOS Tuition at LSU was too much, but I'm pretty fine with my FSU choice. I do think it'd have been great to get out of the state for a bit

Is that a problem with a lot of universities? I'm currently going to a community college but I've heard a lot of stories about boring, egotistical professors at larger schools. I was pretty much expecting to get the more boring instructors because I signed up for classes late and Butte is huge for a community college but I guess I lucked out.

I'm really digging the college feel though so far, I'm actually interested in learning, unlike my high school self.

Close. #6 last year. Texas, TAMU, OSU, UCF, and ASU ahead of you in that ascending order. Looks like you guys shrunk last year.
