I wouldn't say its a red flag for the property itself. The landlord probably needs the place occupied for tax purposes, insurance purposes, etc.

To have a rental property without occupants is essentially losing money each day. It can impact you on multiple levels in terms of income.

I had my first midterm today, along with a post midterm freakout. I don't know why but after I left my class I started to think I missed a page and didn't do half of the multiple choice portion. Had to call my friend afterwards to clarify and I was totally fine and finished everything. My brain is such a dick sometimes.

For me, that would have been a HUGE red flag. I would be asking ok, so what is wrong with this house ? Somebody die here ? Somebody murdered here ? Are we over an indian burial ground ? This house possessed or something. Are the neighbors crazy nut jobs ?

Because it was way too much FREE going on.

That's what I'm thinking, and I'm sure FT was too. Sometimes, though, you're just lucky and find something in the right spot at the right time. When I tell people of my apartment and what we pay and that everything but electric/gas included, it throws them off too.

I don't know how leases go as far as breaking them and what reasons you can. I mean, he's renting right? So any problems will be on the landlord anyway. The only thing you really have to worry about is the murder/ghost thing. You can probably Google your address to get some information on that if anything creepy has happened there.

But damn, just describing the place, sounds amazing. That's a lot of room, sweet jacuzzi/tub (always kinda wanted one), I would love a deck (rooftop would be sick) in my lifetime.

My interest in football began by buying blindly an NFL Gameday for PS1, the one which McNabb was on the cover, without knowing a single rule about it; thanks for that game I learned the rules and I follow the sport.

I also would like for Crash to make a comeback, those were one of my favourite PS1 games.

That's what I'm thinking, and I'm sure FT was too. Sometimes, though, you're just lucky and find something in the right spot at the right time. When I tell people of my apartment and what we pay and that everything but electric/gas included, it throws them off too. .

There is truth to this, I admit. I'm sure FT knows we are just watching out for our own so he doesn't get hosed.

However, my first swinging bachelor pad in Seattle was on the water in West Seattle, and I had the whole downstairs of a home to myself. Private bath, w/d, heat and water were free, and a million dollar view. I only paid for phone and cable tv...rent was 150.00/month!

The 'how??' VERY nice old lady who played bridge with my grandparents at the time. I would do yardwork for her or help her with any lifting or moving of stuff....and here's the kicker.

She encouraged me to play my music as loud as I liked so she could hear me downstairs. She said it made her feel better to hear someone in the house like that. To a guy in his young 20's who loved his rock n roll and playing his bass guitar, that was heaven!!

Good luck, Fresh! It's my hope that this is one of those 'good things happen to good people', and understand that my concerns were for you, not just raving cynicism LOL.

Man, that Gameday '98 intro gave me chills. I had that on PC back in the day and I'm not sure I ever skipped the intro lol

Easily one of the best sports gaming experiences ever. If I remember correctly, Kurt Warner was the lowest rated QB on a roster, and ended up winning MVP that season

My little brother and I would switch back n forth between that and NHL 97 for hours, ahh those were the days

Yep...after she showed me the place, I was in love with it and asked her how much. She put her hands together in that granny kind of way and said "Is 100.00 a month too much?" After I picked my jaw up off the floor I insisted she take 150.00 a month.

I am old...I'm 46 and feel 66, and I rented this place back in 1990 to 1992.
