Something random I just realized....Most of the book reports I've done in school, I watched the movie for it. I think I might have only ever done 1 book report where I actually had to read the book.

Only negative is that someone else in my class did a report on the same book as me once and the teacher was like "how come your report sounds like a slightly different story than that other persons"(since the movie is fairly diff from the book) and I was just like "I got a diff version of the book", and they accepted that excuse and I got a good grade despite only watching the movie.

Since not every book has a movie, how did you manage that? I probably didn't have a book report past 5th grade, but I'm pretty sure at least a few were assigned. Can't get that lucky every time.

My girlfriend's phone got stolen at the costume party we were at last night. It drives me crazy that we didn't know who did it and couldn't do anything. We tried tracking it but we were in an unfamiliar are so that didn't do much good anyway. I ****in hate people.

My grandma just passed away.

Ten years ago I would have probably said she was as healthy as I was (given the amount of fast food I eat, at least). She smoked though... the last five or so years she definitely hit a decline.

Still came unexpectedly. I could seriously break right now, but the way my parents and my grandpa are handling things, they're seeing it as a good thing (in the worst possible way, mind you). She's been in pain, how much I do not know. I just know that I have thousands of memories with her, and the fact that I can't make any new ones is disheartening.

As I said, I could easily shut down for the next week; my new year's resolution was actually going to be not letting any occurrences involving my emotions stand in the way of daily routines and habits though, including deaths of anyone close to me. I have an incredible amount of school and work to focus on, and that shall remain.

Not looking for condolences either, but I did want to forewarn you of any potential mood swings here despite my innermost struggle to stay on course. Luckily or unluckily, this is my closest family death (outside of any pets). A few friends have come and gone including my best friend, but blood seems to run thicker on this one.

Rest In Peace, Barbara Walker. Can't tell you that I know how old she was, though. I believe 75 or 76.

I liked the Batman one fine when I played it a few years ago.

I'd just pick which franchise you like best (Batman/Harry Potter/Star Wars/Pirates/Etc.) and go with that one. Outside of some of the newer ones having voice acting, I think they're all pretty similar.

Not every book has a movie, but enough of them do lol. Also helps when you do the same book multiple years. I prob did Spiderman in 2-3 diff years and the teachers never minded lol.

Also,when they give you a list of books that they want you to choose 1-2 books from, I always just looked up the names of the books and saw if any of them were movies and/or parodied on other tv shows that I liked lol. I remember Simpsons even did a story or two that parodied Shakespeare plays, and one time my teacher actually showed it to the class so everyone would understand it better.
