I had my first bad experience on eBay today. I bought Madden 25 with the Sunday Ticket code for $42 last Wednesday, which was a great deal, but it's now been a week and it still hasn't shipped despite the listing saying "ships within 1 business day". I finally opened a case today asking for a $10 refund since I'll now miss another week of Sunday Ticket, so hopefully that gets accepted. At this point all I want is the game and code, but if my $10 refund request gets turned down, I'll just get a full refund and he can keep it (if he even has it)

I just got a seasonal job at Target so I could earn some extra money.

I'm normally a guy who thinks Black Friday isn't worth the hassle. Now I'm going to be IN IT.

So if you need anybody to irrationally yell at about the games not being out for sale 2 days before the ad says they're supposed to be and you're in the Onalaska, WI area, I'm your man!

How long is it going to be for? Because I've heard the horror stories from Wal Mart employees. Temps are like, the redshirts of retail.

90 days unless I'm awesome.

Dunno. It could suck a lot. But money and it's only 3 months. And I get some experience so I could probably get a job at the local Best Buy at some point after, which would be cool as far as college jobs go.

I dunno, I worked 3 months at Wal-Mart and hope to never set foot in that god forsaken place ever again.


Then again, I was working 4PM-1AM unloading 1200 item GM trucks in the heat. Stocking shelves is much easier.

I worked at WM right out of HS for 3 months. I was in the produce section so it wasn't too bad. They pay those areas more than stockers and cashiers. I think I got about 75 cents over minimum wage which seemed great for my first job. The 10% discount was nice too. Also got a $100 check due to a lawsuit filed against them for shorting people on breaks. Unloading the trucks in the middle of July in Texas did suck. Luckily I was always extra help so my job was to get it off the conveyer belt onto the pallet.

I've been working at a Hyvee (grocery store) in the produce department for about a year now. It's ridiculously easy. Only thing that sucks about it is getting bitched at by 40-year-old women.
