Woke up a bit before 7 to no power. Still no power at 11:30 so I called realtors office and they said that as of 10 AM it would be another 4-6 hours. Later get a note under my door saying that there had been a major equipment failure and that it could possibly be as long as tomorrow before power is back on. It also said that the emergency generator should keep the heating boilers running, though I'm not getting any heat in my apartment though I think one of the radiators wasn't working properly to begin with. Re: Off Topic 2013
Well one of our coon hounds died today. He was 15 years old, we've had him since I was about 3 years old. Best damn hunting dog I've ever seen, it didn't matter the conditions or how well coon were moving that night, if you cut him loose he was sure to tree one, even if it meant going 5 miles and taking the whole night.
I'm really gonna miss this old hound, but I'm sort of relieved he finally passed, he has been in poor shape, partially blind, deaf, underweight, etc. for the last year or so.
RIP Champ, you will be missed.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2013
I don't blame you, and the aforementioned "incident," and related incidents, is why many of the people I know with trouble sleeping won't take them. I've definitely gotten used to an inconsistent sleep schedule, thankfully not needing to rely on "aids" night in, night out. Also not having some full blown insomnia probably helps. I don't blame anyone for keeping their distance, so long as it doesn't start to really affect their daily doings.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2013
I used to take Unisom every night before bed, then I was given prescription Ambien and it was horrible, gave me the most vividly terrifying dreams. For awhile I didn't take anything and my sleep cycle got so messed up I was waking up at like 8 pm and going to sleep around 1pm. Now I just drink myself to sleep.
