Gee, I wonder why anyone would block me LOL.

No it's a big problem because if there are some unsavory people out there who can still follow you, RT you, see everything you say, etc but because you "blocked them", you can't see it, then what's the point? I've blocked hundreds of people over the years, and some for very good reason. It's absolutely absurd that they just lift all the blocks and it's a free-for-all.

Not that Twitter had such a great block system to begin with, but whatever. Why can't they just do what FB does where a block literally removes that person from existence? It sucks because I use Twitter as a source of information. Maybe I'll just go to another account I've created.

Then make your account private if you care so much about "unsavory" people reading your tweets.

All they'd have to do to read your timeline in the old system was to log out for a second and go to your page anyways. This doesn't really change anything.

HBK blocked me for telling him to embrace his going bald.

Those are the only people I know to block me.

Family road trip like 15 years ago, stopped for a break and grabbed a Monster Burger, it changed me. I became a bigger man, due in no part to the 1500 calories.

That's my thought. If I was that worried about people reading my stuff, I'd be private. I mean, Tweets are Google searchable. If someone really wants to read my tweets, they could find a way. This just makes it easier.

Yeah, blocking someone doesn't stop them from reading your timeline. Just go private.

Making the Twitter private prevents them from getting out to the public. It's not a matter of my tweets being public that's the problem because that's how interaction works. You tweet something with the word "Braves" in there and it's visible to anyone tracking "Braves" on search. If I make the account private, that won't happen anymore. That's not what I want to prevent.

It's a matter of a block function not actually blocking anyone. Unlike FB, where one block does the job. It's just dumb that a "block" is a "mute" when I already have programs that can mute users and words for me. A block should do more.

Thanks guys. Been an awesome day so far. Had a chicken parmesan sandwich, a cannoli, and blue cheese fries from Carl's Jr. Grandma's making spaghetti for dinner tonight. Going out with friends tomorrow. Should be a fun, food-filled weekend, lol.
