Yeah, the server's delivery was off which is why I agree she should have been fired. I don't like this trend of publicly shaming people you have a personal problem with either.

Yeah, spending two years as a waiter/bartender, I agree. She got shafted and had a right to be pissed, but there are better ways of venting. I saw someone in my restaurant get fired for doing something similar. A celebrity came in, so she took a picture of his receipt with his signature and put it online. It got back to the celeb, and they were pissed.

Basically:

A group of 8 people ate at Applebees to which they charged an automatic 18% gratuity on the ticket. The woman, a pastor, who paid for the meal (total was only $40) marked out the automatic tip, put a zero, wrote a snarky comment, and left. A server (not the waitress for the table) saw the ticket, took a picture of it, and posted it to the internet. The pastor called Applebees upon learning that the ticket was online and demanded everybody be fired, but I guess eventually settled with just the server who posted it online. The server was fired.

It was actually the waitress who got fired because she took the picture and posted it because she felt bad for the server and thought it was a disgrace that someone would right that.

I stumbled across this guy's Youtube channel last night by accident, hell forgot what I was originally was searching for. But he looked like somebody I knew, so that is why I clicked on him, heard his voice and said nope that isn't him. However......I watched his videos from 10pm to 4am.

The stuff this man has in his house made me say wow.......Now I have all kinds of ideas. Plus his story is interesting. He is a software engineer in Washington. However, he never went to college, hell didn't even graduate high school. All his programming knowledge is self taught.

I'm also not a huge fan of the whole "when somebody does something they probably shouldn't have, post it on the internet" trend. The internet isn't for airing out your dirty laundry. I can understand being upset, but that's not something you need to let the whole world know about, in my book.

Unfortunately people are gradually being depleted of any ability to use discretion when using social media.

Pretty much, but at least on facebook status updates it is, for the most part, contained. The whole "lets plaster it all the internet" is ridiculous. This shouldn't even be news. It should just be another ******* customer who didn't leave a tip because she's a moron.
