I'm still trying to get used to the skating, but I like it so far.

I can't figure it out either, and the CPU guys can cut across the ice like Barry Sanders on ... like... non ice.

Here's a tip: you don't always have to fully hold the L stick while skating. Always going full speed takes accuracy off of your shots and makes your turns wider. A lot of times it's more beneficial to just go a little more than halfway, and then you can make quick bursts and cuts by quickly moving the stick all the way.

I'm sure there's some good videos on Youtube that explain the full system better.

I barely ever use the L click unless I'm in a puck chase and need the boost.

I'm more annoyed with how I need to do a snow wash stop in order to change directions as opposed to a rounded skate pattern. Meanwhile the CPU dudes can change directions with a rounded glide so easily and if I change directions, to use their momentum against them, they easily recover and poke check the puck away anyway

I just want to say one thing about a movie. I don't care if it's the greatest thing ever put on celluloid (er digital?) but I'm not ever going to watch that new Oz film. Just about EVERY commercial break here in Canada had the same damn ad for that movie.
