Probably. Still really scary though. I'm just glad no one got hurt.

Yes. It became federal law December 23, 2001.

Not that I'm actually that worried about it. It was taken care of and no one got hurt, but honestly it's just kind of scary when it hits so close to home.

                  Re: Off Topic 2013

The happiest day of my life will be the day I graduate school for good(meaning college/university) and won't ever have to go back.

I'd rather go to work than school. Sure work is 8-10 hours a day, but once you get home(and on weekends), you don't have to worry about homework, studying, having to fully know several hundred pages for a 2hr test.

For example, a class I have an exam for soon, I have almost 90 in it, but the final exam means you need at least a specific percent to pass the course. So even if I got like 5% below that specific percent, I'd fail, even though I had 90 average(and final exam isn't even 30% of my final grade).

It's rules like that which make me completely hate school and go crazy if I ever don't get specific mark on exam(which has happened multiple times in past. Both of which I had great mark before final exam).

It sucks really what post secondary school has done to my confidence/my drive in school. Don't think I've ever been less excited to go to school. And it's not cause what I'm studying isn't interesting, it's cause of how much the rules regarding final exams basically screw up 4 months of crazy hard work/dedication. And that's coming from someone who loved going to school all during grade/high school and was a good student! Can imagine how much others who hated school from the start are/have done afterwards.

Well, in a few billion years as the sun depletes the hydrogen fuel in its core and begins expanding into its red giant phase, the Earth will become progressively hotter with the oceans eventually evaporating. The expanding sun may or may not eventually engulf the Earth (some debate on just how large the sun will get with some estimates saying all the rocky planets will be engulfed and others saying just Mercury and Venus). If the Earth is engulfed by the expanding sun then it will be vaporized. If it isn't then it will be left as a cold and barren rock orbiting the white dwarf remnant of the sun. So that's what the world will eventually come to.

                        Re: Off Topic 2013

I keep getting unsolicited calls on my work phone from a number of different places.

It was all quiet for a while, but now I get calls asking me to advertise for magazines from every corner of the country. I don't know how they get my number (I put it on a do not call list) and I never have heard of any of their businesses.

Now there's a place that will not stop calling to see if I would like to buy pens and magnets from them.

Since I like to always find the "fun" in everything I do, I have decided that I will give these people a fair chance to earn some commission.

What I'm going to do is tell them if they can sing me a song (It has to be something goofy that would sound ridiculous to me, like "Thrift Shop" or "Dragula") I will very seriously consider doing business with them.

Of course I will never give them my credit card number if they actually sing to me, but either they will get the hint or keep calling me up to sing for me.

Basically, I can't lose on this deal

My girlfriend just bought fifth row tickets to a Book of Mormon show this weekend. That's awesome. Maybe she does have some redeeming qualities to her.
