I've never seen someone have a true vertigo attack until it just happened to a coworker. That was some weird ****.

Re: Off Topic 2013
Today during a class I had to do a presentation with my group about a case. I felt quite calmed before it and I knew what I had to say but at the moment I had to talk I chocked, my mind was blank, couldn't read my notes, sweating a lot and felt extremely hot. I barely could say my lines with help from my group and I felt so dumb, I never felt comfortable when doing presentations to the rest of the class but I never reacted like that, I couldn't pay concentrate after that. Luckily my classmates could cheer me up and made me feel better because I'm a person who easily feels down, I used to have a depression problem not so long ago so I can still have those quick changes of feelings.
I need to get my Xbox fixed, it's been collecting dust for so long now. The problem is that I don't know where to get it fixed since I don't have a reliable person or place to get it fixed and the one where I usually went closed. After all the NFL Head Coach talks a couple days ago made me want to get it besides that my brothers want to get Injustice and Assassin's Creed 3.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2013
This forum is very enlightening sometimes.
I had no idea there were so many food snobs out there. I know people who don't eat specific foods, but the amount of thought and energy people put into avoiding certain foods just seems like too much effort for me.
I'm glad there aren't many foods that I simply just don't like.Comment

Energy? I don't typically push my "diet" on anyone or tell people what to eat, but I tend to actively participate when it comes to trans-fats, polysaturated oils, and GMO's.
I don't eat out often so when I do I like to be a place I like and support. Part of the reason why I won't eat any Papa John's.

Thought? Yes, definitely.

I just never knew so many people didn't like things to that extent.
I prefer home grown vegetables, but I'll still eat them from other sources.
I guess It just stems from growing up not having much for years. We ate a lot of food from the garden and I didn't complain about any meals.
If my mom made pancakes and I said, "I'm not eating that. I want natural maple syrup" the results would not have been good.. lol.
Of course my parents are a lot better off these days, but they were young when they had my sister and I. This isn't even an old man GMSS story either. I'm 23 with a 27 year old sister and two parents in their mid 40s.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2013
Well, yeah - most big chain things are garbage to compare to local stuff. That's kind of par for the course. Same for products that use more natural ingredients and those that don't.
I won't trash what people chose to eat. I may curl up my nose or lip, but if people want to stick some nasty funk into their mouths that's on them. I'm always refusing donuts, chips, cakes, fast food, etc at work because I don't want it. I'm sure it tastes fine, but give me one of my wraps over a fast-food burger any day of the week.
I try to be like that across the board, though, and its kind of funny the way people will be "organic" here and in another area the complete opposite.

I've wondered the same thing Chase. Like yesterday I was googling sausage brands to find a good pizza style sausage to get at the store, it was basically a bunch of comments bashing regular store chains & demanding anyone with a palate to find their local italian deli for the good stuff. I'm like damn, it's not that serious lol
edit: haha, I said "Chase" which could be referring to either of youWolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment
