        Re: Off Topic 2013

I had a similar phone, JJ.

It was a silver Cingular LG Flip phone with the 1 megapixel camera.

I went through two of those until finally getting a Samsung Slider. Everyone else was trying to get on the Razer, but I hated them.

I had three of these in orange, lime green, and blue. There were some really solid pictures sent to me from girls that were stored on that phone.

I remember when the iPhone first came out and this girl brought hers to school. I think you still had to pay out of pocket for them at the time and they were around $400.00. She was listening to music with it in class and I was still rockin' the 2gb iPod that I paid over $150.00 for... smh.

It's funny how much things changed just from the time I graduated in 2008 until now. Talking to that girl at MEPS the other day and finding out she was graduating this month made me feel old as **** and I'm only 23.

Wait until you are 25 and people start using words like "rachet". Makes you feel dinosauric.

I love my Iphone. But if I had the choice of having just a PHONE? I'd take a flip phone every time.

We used to have the Nextel Chirp Phones.
Those were all the rage then too!
                Barely see them anymore.

First day back at work since Saturday.

Of course I came in to papers and notes all over my desk.

I threw at least half of it away because it was junk or useless notes.

My wife bought us each one when they first came out. I dunked mine in the toilet the very next day. I felt so bad. Of course she bought me another the next day. But man talk about stupid. Completely wasted her money. Of course I've long since made up for that.

The RAZR was such a piece of **** phone. I had two of them and had bad experiences with both...horrible battery life and it took FOREVER to delete text messages. I remember it took like 20 minutes to wipe my text inbox once it reached the limit (I think it was 1000).

I loved my black razr. One of my favorite phones I have ever owned. The size, the fact that it was a flip, the large buttons....

I just didn't like anything Motorola then. They also tried to re invent it when sales declined with the Slvr.. I couldn't text with them.
