Re: Off Topic 2013
That's because at the end of the day it's still a minor league club and an affiliate of Miami. I'm not saying that there would be more sell outs if they were a Astros or Braves affiliates, but people would care about the Z's a hell of a lot more. And may thy spirit live in us, Forever LSU

I went to games back when they were an Astros affiliate.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Miami thought building a new ballpark would help bring out more fans. They were mistaken. Pretty embarrassing stuff.YNWAComment

Re: Off Topic 2013
Really? Because the Twins are right in the middle attendance-wise (16th with an average of 29,630-which will probably pick up now that it's not freezing for every game like it is in April and early May). I can see Cleveland, Miami, Houston and Seattle, but I can't see Minnesota.MLB: Minnesota Twins
NFL: Philadelphia Eagles
NBA: Chicago Bulls, Minnesota Timberwolves
European Football: Manchester United, Brighton & Hove Albion
NCAA: UNI Panthers, Iowa Hawkeyes

Re: Off Topic 2013
Yeah, Minnesota is the anomaly. Usually that only happens early in the season (but not during opening week) during midweek games aka when it's cold and interest isn't at the highest.Really? I think we've only outdrew the Twins a few times, not as frequent as the MarlinsAnd may thy spirit live in us, Forever LSU

Today I received the results of my maths test and to my surprise I got 30 out of 30 and was the person with the highest score in the class, even my friends who I study with and are brighter got less. It feels strange for me to be that intelligent.Comment

In the days of the Dome, no one came to mid-week games. A couple more years of the crap they insist on putting in the field and it will trend that way again.Really?
