I wonder if chicks realize just how critical haircuts are. With some of the dumb things they do with their hair (like the helmet hair bangs), it seems like they don't know.

Remember how last night I posted how I was taking my wife on a nice surprise romantic dinner at Nottoway Plantation?

Well, it turned out to be quite the interesting evening... When we got there we noticed that there was a ton of RV's in the parking lot. Then we get on the actual grounds and there were tents, a "jump jump" and hippies spread about. We didn't know what was up, but we went on to dinner - which was nice by the way. By the time we got out of the restaurant it was dark and the hippies had multiplied.

We wanted to walk the grounds while we were there, but were hesitant since well, you know, it was crowed with hippies. While we were walking out and we stopped to talk to the old man at the desk and we asked him what was up. He said that they have something going on called ToddStock.

The old man tells us that normally it's much quieter there and that since we're locals we should definitely come back another time. Then he ask if we want to see the mansion and we decided said that we would. I have to admit it was pretty awesome. Especially, if your a history buff.

After spending about an hour looking through everything and taking pictures we decided to walk the grounds like we had originally planned. We walked around to this pond area and passed two hippies along the way. As we were looping around the pond I smelled a familiar smell from my teenage days and looked back to see them that "smoking" out of a 20 oz bottle. My wife had never been around anything like that before so she was ready to go at that point. As we were walking back we could hear another hippie bragging about how he made one of his hippie friends eat a big shroom that he had covered in honey. I thought that was a pretty cool idea, but my wife was appalled. She also didn't appreciate that the hippies had defiled the grounds by hanging their hippie stuff up everywhere (hippie lights on statues, hanging hippie flags from trees, etc). All and all it was an interesting night. We got to have a nice romantic dinner, see some cool old stuff from the civil war and "people watch" a bunch of hippies at a plantation. Overall the most entertaining night that this old married man has had in a while.

Today I decided to look up this Todd guy and it turned out to be Todd Rundgren. I actually like a lot of his music (I know that Dayman can appreciate at least one of his songs). I just never knew his name. If they have it at Nottoway again next year we may go for the final night. Who from OS is with me?

A little bit, but when you're 19-20 smoking/talking about drugs openly, hanging out in swim suits at 10 pm (unless you're at a pool) and jumping in jump jumps is more socially acceptable than when you're 40+.
