Probably the most surprising thing to me is that a lot of people are buying both. "Ain't nobody got time for that". Or at least I know I don't.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Some take their video games way too seriously. Buy what you're going to buy and enjoy it. Who cares what the next man is doing with his money. What he eats don't make you ****.
All that console back and forth nonsense is corny. One guy even got himself banned in there. He'd been around since 04 or something. Stupid.Comment

Russian is hard as hell. So hard in fact that looking at Spanish again 6 years later, I remember it all. Good thing the Soviets didn't win. It's going to take me forever to learn declenation. As if it isn't bad enough to have to learn verb conjugations, you have to learn how to "conjugate" nouns.Comment

I forgot my 2 years of Spanish already, probably not a good thing living in FLSaints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

I wish I had a reason to use Spanish more. I can still read it, and understand a good amount when people speak it. Don't ask me to speak it myself though.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment

Working in my industry in California knowing Spanish is almost a must. I never took it in school but working 20 years in kitchens I've picked it up and can safely get by and communicate effectively in Spanish.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. I live in Northern Mexico, though, so Spanish would be helpful. I have no need to learn it though, nor would I want to (though I can read some of it since it's fairly close to French in some regards.)
However, I have learned the basics of writing Korean. It's actually super easy to pick up, I just don't know the traditional words for stuff. When they sound it out into bastardized English though it's fairly easy.badComment

I can still read French for the most part, and I last studied that... 6-7 years ago. Speaking it would probably be impossible.

The benefit I have with Russian is my girlfriend speaks fluent Ukrainian and near-fluent Russian so it cuts the difficulty in half for a lot of things.Comment

Vermont is nothing but Southern Quebec. Hell French is the 2nd official language here and they accept Quebec money here as well. You can also pick up radio stations in French when you in the northern part of the state.Comment

I also knew a Russian girl in college. I think she was born in Russia but her family immigrated to the US when she was young. Anyways, my college offered some Russian classes and when she matriculated she took the Russian prognostic exam (to see where she'd place) just for the heck of it and placed in a 5000-lvele class. Or at least that's where she would've placed if Allegheny offered Russian at that level.
I took the Spanish prognostic test (after taking it 5 years in high school) and placed in the 200 level. I was pretty much a wiz at verb conjugation in Spanish.
I still remember a decent amount of my 5 years of Spanish.Steelers : IX, X, XIII, XIV, XL, XLIII
