Re: Off Topic 2013
Funny how hip hop music introduced MDMA to the younger generation. Guess all trends repeat themselves.
Wish gas stations and markets in my state sold alcohol. Only liquor stores around here. Not that it's an inconvenience because I'm so used to it but it would make life easier if they did.
Of course there are always places in the hood to buy liquor 24/7. Out of the way though.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2013
The dog aggressively charged the officers. What the **** would YOU have done?
All of this could have been avoided if the ******* hadn't been standing there videotaping the cops anyway.
Just go on with your ****ing day. How *** **** hard is it?Last edited by Watson; 07-01-2013, 11:04 PM.And may thy spirit live in us, Forever LSU

Re: Off Topic 2013
1: It isn't a crime to videotape police. In fact, thanks to people going out of their way to videotape the cops, a number of corrupt officials have been exposed doing the dirt that corrupt officials usually get away with.
2: You call that an aggressive lunge? I've seen many dogs bite people, some in real life, some on video, and that was not an aggressive lunge. And if you notice, the dog first goes up to them, sniffs around, then backs up. The cop on the other hand approaches the dog, and the dog barks.
3: The guy was being illegally arrested, and yet remained compliant.
Now let's go back to 2. The corrupt officers could have had the guy that was being illegally arrested calm the dog. I've seen a few officers do it before, as long as the person doesn't appear to be looking to either run away, or attack the officer. That would've been the proper course of action, but let's say that it didn't dawn of the corrupt officers to let the guy calm his dog down. Officers carry tasers, and while obviously not fun, I'm pretty sure any/everyone would prefer getting tased than shot. That undisciplined corrupt officer was trigger happy, and it resulted in the death of that dog.
Trying to make sure I word this carefully. Having preconceived notions towards anyone, animal or human, big or small, is always a bad thing. Not all big dogs are killers, and not all chiwawa's are friendly.Last edited by Jdoug312; 07-01-2013, 11:29 PM.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2013
The comments in the link to the video are the best part
"Cops are nothing more than violent sociopaths who need to be put down.""I won't hold back here in saying that I hope all of those cops are murdered by some hardened criminal in the line of duty.""That dog showed loyalty 2 his owner. Even the dog knew the pigs were wrong. The dog has better morals than the pigs do.""Just a shame the dog wasn't MORE aggressive and ripped a few pigs' throats out, and made America a better, safer place.""I really hope someone goes Dorner on those coproaches."
The irony of these people calling the cops the names they did.And may thy spirit live in us, Forever LSU

he shooting occurred about 7:15 p.m. Sunday at 137th Street and Jefferson Avenue about two hours after police surrounded a house where a gunman had robbed two people inside. A crowd of spectators gathered in response to the large police response, which included several police cars and the department’s Bearcat armored vehicle.
As some, including resident Gabriel Martinez, aimed their cellphones at the scene to record it, Rosby drove up in his rented black Mazda. Swain said Rosby stopped in the intersection with music blaring from his windows. Officers told him to turn down the music because they were trying to hear what was happening down the street. Rosby pulled forward, parked and got out with his dog, but left the music still playing loudly.
“It’s distracting the officers,” Swain said. “It’s interfering with what they are able to hear. It’s not just a party call. It’s an armed robbery call. The officers need to hear what’s going on with the people being called out of the residence. That music in his car is bleeding over and it’s distracting them.”
And taping them may not be illegal, but why would you do it? In the end, it will only cause more problems than it resolves. In fact, it should be illegal. And may thy spirit live in us, Forever LSU

If a big dog goes to bite you, you do what you have to do. The dog was attempting to bite the officer.badComment

As far as why do it, I'd say for the same reason that stores have video cameras recording at all times. If a crime happens to be committed, you have it there on camera.Comment
