First one isn't BS. They want to see if you can actually read the signs and use them. They figure if you can't take the effort to go 28 in a 25 for a test, you won't bother to slow down in school zones and what not. Now, nothing says you would even if you were under 25, but it is the same as this one...
Really? You didn't stop at a stop sign in a driver's test!!! Should have given you 3 strikes and you're out.
That's like coming up to a red light during a driving exam and going "It's clear, I'm going!" and just keep on trucking. In a driver's exam, don't do little dumb things, that in some cases, you shouldn't be doing any way. Every person that I've heard get a ticket for running a stop sign is because they "rolled through it", not because they blatantly missed it. Every time I hear someone say "Yea, I roll through stops all the time," I wonder, how much of a ****ing hurry must you be in that you can't stop and just make sure?
