One of my professors has been trying to make my life a living hell all semester... just hates me for some reason.

She's now threatening to turn me in to the Undergraduate Office for a violation of the Academic Integrity Policy that I didn't commit. If she gets away with it, I'll probably lose my scholarship and not be able to come back to Syracuse.

Absolutely insane. And this is my ****ing finals week.

What did you do to her?

I mean, DAMN.

See, it's like this. She set the class up so that the only things we're graded on are our two exams and our project.

Meanwhile, she has like 15 lab assignments that she wants us to do, but since they weren't graded, I would just do like half of each lab or so until I felt comfortable with it and I never actually submitted any of them since I didn't have to.

She's hated me ever since for not being in class/not turning in the labs while I'm acing the exams.

So for the project, I'm working with my partner, and we send her our "project proposal", saying "Hey, we made a few changes to our proposal and wanted to run them by you to see if we're going in the right direction with our project".

She then responded saying that unless we prove that we had turned in a previous version of the proposal (which we didn't, nor did we ever say we did), we will be turned in for a violation of the Academic Integrity Policy because we claimed that we had submitted work that we hadn't actually submitted (...but we never actually claimed that...)

So yeah, we're going to the Undergrad Office tomorrow to complain about her and I'm bringing snapshots of all the bull**** emails and private messages that she's sent me throughout the semester along with the email to prove that we didn't do anything wrong and that she's basically been treating me differently than all the other students the entire semester.

Why didnt you speak to her directly (not email) during office hours or schedule an appointment with her. In situations like this speaking to the professor directly can quell volatile situations. Worse case scenario you have more evidence for your case based on that conversation.

I had a math teacher threaten to fail me for not handing in work so I spoke with him and we found that it was a mistake on me sending it to the wrong email. I showed him evidence of me sending it out and he understood and chose to accept the work (I was a moron for not make sure it went through).

But yeah, anyway make sure you have your case heard. I have had friends get accused of much worse at Syracuse and they got off with a major warning because the professor's case was not strong enough. Just be ready if you have a hearing.

I took this part of it to mean that you had already submitted a proposal. Otherwise, why would you say "made a few changes"?

We had made changes to our original proposal before we ever submitted it, but yeah, I assume that's what she'll try to argue too, but it's a bull**** point.

The one closest to us is the 6,500 acre fire, which is about an hour or so away.
