Goin to the O's game against the Nats tonight, hopefully it's as awesome as the game last night. There was this O's game I went to last summer against the A's, and towards the end both teams had twice as many players in the field as there should've been. Strangest thing.

Anyone know if car insurance companies do random checks? I just noticed a Progressive vehicle in the parking lot pull up next to my Blazer and the guy sat there staring over at it for about 5 minutes and then drove away. Do they check to make sure I wasn't lying about my make & model? It was just weird to me.

Do they check to make sure I wasn't lying about my make & model? It was just weird to me.

Not that I have heard. May have just been a claims adjuster in the area.

Just found out one of my students may be paralyzed. He went to get surgery for his scoliosis and apparently he had swelling on his spine that now has him paralyzed. No idea if it's permanent. They could finish today b/c the swelling was still there. They're going to try again tomorrow.

I've had students tell me about a sibling committing suicide, being molested, losing mom and little brother in a car wreck.

No class or book prepares you to hear stuff like this. Every hair on my body stood up when the principal told us this. I don't understand the way life works at all.

I know some of you in here aren't happy where you're at in life, I'm not gonna preach to you, but try and make sure you remember the little things you take for granted. I also take stuff for granted too. **** like this makes me realize how lucky I am.

Update. Paralysis was temporary because of the swelling. 2nd procedure was able to be completed today. Was relieved to hear.
