Anyone Sell Items on Amazon?
I have some old books that I can't trade in on Amazon for gift cards but can sell for cash. The one hangup I have is that they want my bank acct number and routing number so that they can deposit it for me. This makes me uneasy for a number of reasons.

Re: Anyone Sell Items on Amazon?
Slymm,
It takes Amazon about two weeks to deposit the money after you ship the item. It takes a long time to validate the account.
Right after I received the money, I deleted my bank account number from my account.Comment

Re: Anyone Sell Items on Amazon?
I've sold a couple video games on there and the first few times it will take them a while to deposit the money to not just validate your bank account, but because you're a new seller they will want to make sure that the buyer doesn't have a problem with the product. After a couple weeks, 2 to 3, you'll get the money in your bank account.
It seems very safe to me, at least everything on amazon's side. If you do have any issues, it would be with the buyer so it's best to take all precautions like pictures and delivery confirmation. My football alliances: E-A-G-L-E-S Eagles AND Hokie Hokie Hokie HiComment
