Favorite Athletes of All Time

With all the weird/ban worthy things going on in sports, it got me thinking about my favorite athletes of all time. Here are mine, who are your favorites. They can be from any sport, mine just happen to be from baseball.

Cal Ripken Jr. - grew up in Baltimore so he's an obvious choice, met him and played catch with him and did not crap my pants.

Ken Griffey Jr. - loved the way he played the game. Had one of the sweetest if not THE sweetest swing in baseball. Was there when he hit the warehouse at Camden yards.

Nolan Ryan - the guys work ethic was awesome, loved his toughness. Modeled my little league windup after his. Gotta love the robin Ventura headlock too.

Michael Jordan : Everyone loves him, watching him just amazed me when I was younger. Even now watching some of his old highlight reels still brings chills. I'll never forget the first time I saw him live, it was a surreal moment.

John Stockton : Gritty small point guard who played his heart out. Being a white guy I can relate to him easily . One of the toughest guys I saw on the court.

Kobe Bryant : Amazing player, hits insane shots that other wouldn't even attempt. Could throw down some sick dunks in his younger years and could go off for 50 on any given occasion.

Football- Tony Dorsett
Baseball- Steve Garvey/Ron Cey
Boxing- Sugar Ray Leonard

Overall my favorite goes to "Magic" got to see him when I was in the 7th grade when he was a rookie at the Forum in Inglewood. Was able to get down by the tunnel after the game and he gave me a "High 5" That moment was "Priceless" Lol. Kareem gave me the fist sign "ala" Black Panther so it was a night to remember.

I remember in the 7th grade at Crozier Jr. High on recess we all wanted to be like Magic Johnson when ballin. Good Times!!!!

Those are the only sports I follow closely enough to really have favorites. All time favorite across all sports has to be Favre.

Baseball (I've got a lot here): Larry Walker, Andres Galarraga, Vinny Castilla, Dante Bichette, Kirby Puckett, Eric Milton, Brad Radke (I had very much a love-hate relationship with Radke, but I'll still include him), Doug Meintkiewicz, Corey Koskie, Jacque Jones, Ron Coomer

I would include Torii Hunter but he's a Tiger now so I hate him

Football: Warren Moon, Randall Cunningham, Jim Kelly, Donovan McNabb, Reggie White, Cris Carter, Jake Reed.
