If I lose $1,000 or whatever I'm going everywhere to try and find it.

I didn't say I wouldn't go everywhere, I'd say that's the last place I'd think of. It seems like such an 80's concept to turn that kind of thing into police. In fact, I've never gone into a police station to find something I've lost, though I'll ask if that place has a lost and found.

I don't even know where my nearest police station is. Sad, but true. Fire department? Yes. Police station? Not a clue.

I think things getting turned into the police station, particularly found sums of money, happens a lot more often than people think.

Correct, that's what the article says. I don't think of "police station" when I lose things though. I shall start doing that.

Last night this guy walked into the police station with his friend, pulled out a knife and made stabbing motions towards his friend. Police told him to the drop the knife. The guy instead made stabbing motions towards the police officers. One of the cops shot him. Guy is still alive, he is in the hospital.

How could they think the kid was gay when he was only 4? Heck, I have plenty of straight friends who thought girls had "cooties" until they were 9 or 10. Even if he was gay, you still shouldn't kill your own kid.
