Absolutely absurd. I like how the girl isn't charged with anything and the boys life is about to be ruined. Justice.
I would hope that those police officers had better use of their time than going after sexting teens, but maybe they have "other" motivations.

I'm really confused by this case. It seems to me like nothing here warrants ruining the kids life. I mean I almost have to believe there is more to the story than what all the articles so far have said. If she sent him a pic and he responded with one isn't that basically just "kids being kids?" You slap him on the wrist and give him a warning? The way police are handling it makes you think the kid was a super creep and pulling out his junk in front of pre-school playgrounds or something.

I dunno, the story seems weird to me.

I did some research on this whole sexting case.

1. Both teens are white (at least according to one source), so no racial stuff.

2. The police say the 17 year old was told to stop but kept sending pics anyway

No clue as to why prosecution is so overzealous, probably the girl's parents have some sort of political clout.

It's their only hope to prove their case. According to what I read, the way the statute is written, they need some sort of identifiable mark to prove the pic or whatever is him. I guess there is no true identifiable mark, so they start taking pics to try and match something up, which is ridiculous. Even more ridiculous, in the update on the original article it said " Foster said Detective Abbott told her that after obtaining photos of the teen’s erect penis he would “use special software to compare pictures of this penis to this penis."" lol

Anyway, the new press release says they have abandoned the **** pic warrant, they won't pursue it anymore and will just let it lapse.

Also, it's confounding to me how anybody could disparage creating weapon systems that make it safer for military personnel to do their jobs. We need more of these types of things.

So this happened up here:

Staff at the Dick’s on Broadway and E. Denny Way called police at about 5:30 PM after the woman began harassing customers and refused when a manager asked her to leave the property. Instead, the woman grabbed a condiment holder and a charity donation box off Dick’s front counter and hurled them at employees. The woman struck one staff member in the arm, scratching him.

When officers arrived at the scene, a witness also told them the woman pulled her pants down and performed a very lewd act in front of Dick’s.
