This guy is homeless, have a smart phone and a credit card reader. He also formed a union for his homeless buddies and they panhandle in "shifts" to make donation asking more efficient. SMH

Yea I don't see a problem with it. You can get an iPhone for pretty cheap online and I have seen data plans that run for around $30 a month. And it's smart for the guy to do. Would I trust him with my CC info, no. But is it a good, hell yea.

With those business skills, he shouldn't be homeless for 10 years. He should be able to get a job and off the street. If I see a homeless person pull out a smart phone, I'm not giving them anything. Reminds me of a guy I seen years ago sitting outside a subway station all day saying he was homeless with a large cup asking for spare change. Around 6pm he got up, walked around the corner and hopped inside of his Mercedes Benz.

See this where I disagree with you. You don't know why the guy can't get a job, what if he's disabled or something and can't work. And the phone thing doesn't bother because you can get cheap ones online. I just looked on Amazon and the lowest no contract smartphone I saw was around $29. And the lowest no contract iPhone was around $40.

Edit: And I would hate that guy you saw getting into a Benz, FWIW.

You're not obligated to give homeless people money.

Funny how so many people think homeless folks can just get up and get a job if they just felt like it.

His thought process really isn't that ridiculous when he's probably told "Sorry, I don't have any cash" a dozen times a day.
