    Re: Supplements

Just whey protein or a protein blend. Save the rest of your money and use it on quality foods.

Protein is all you need really...... anything else is just extra fluff IMO.

What exactly is your goal? It's damn near impossible to bulk up and lot and lose fat at the same time. One requires a calorie surplus while the other requires a deficit.

I use C4 for pre-work, and some Cellucor BCAA post work.

                      Re: Supplements

I dropped the pre workouts and supplements like a bad habit, with the exception of amino burst and a protein blend for post-workout.

Stay away from some of the "dietary supplements" that also serve as a pre workout.. I've used Jack3d, C4, N.O X-Plode, Hyper FX, Nanovapor, Assault, etc. over the past two years and while they help you get through some workouts or maybe lift those extra few pounds, they are terrible on your central nervous system and they help you paint a mirage for yourself.. also terrible for your appetite, which may cheat you even more because you won't want to eat.

Just stay hydrated throughout the day, shy away from fast food, and get a few sources of protein in your daily diet..

Creatine monohydrate is cheap as dirt.

                          Re: Supplements

yeah, if you're going to take a supplement besides protein, I'd stick purely w/ some cheap creatine monohydrate as its pretty much the only legitimate supplement out there that's been proven time and time again in double blind studies to actually help strength gain...

If you are going to take it however, read up on it first and understand how and why it actually works so that you use it properly.

                          And drink lots of water!
