Re: A weird question about home entrances

The town house I live in kind of has a weird set up...

The parking lot is behind all of the units, which faces the garages that are all on the back of our units. So I just pull into the parking lot, or the garage, and go in that way.

The front door faces a court yard area on the opposite side of the house, so only the poor losers without automated garage doors walk the extra 100 feet or so to their front doors.
    Now, more than ever

I've never lived in a house with a garage. My dad has talked about building one in the past, but we never have went through with it.

Since then, we have added three bedrooms and an entertainment/game room to the house along with a very big double bay shop with doors large enough to allow an 18 wheeler through.

Yet they still can't see the point in a garage

I use side door. Mostly because it's main entrance. There's room for shoes and stuff by side door(but not front), and don't have to walk up stairs to get to the side door(I have to walk up stairs once I get inside house, but that's inside,so no real problem, compared to snowy/ice stairs by front door in winter)

I'll use back door in summer if it's like middle of the day or something(and it's already unlocked)

Always through the garage unless we take my wife's car somewhere, then its through the front door.

I always use the front door. The back door is a slider and can't be unlocked from the outside. When I do enter though I like to do a couple nice ballerina twirls.

Side door, as I park on the side of the house.
Also, why you no doggie door option? lmao

I'm gonna be "that guy" that has two answers.

The garage is around back but not attached. I go through the side door of the four-season porch and then enter the house through the back door. I chose back door though, since technically the question is about entering the "house."
