Some happy news in our household :)

[Lieutenant Dan]

My wife has been out of work since Dec 2011. She went back to school last year and got her second degree from ITT, this one in software engineering (programming). Through that, she was also working through some difficult emotional issues from her past and I was kinda carrying the load for the house.

She had some great job prospects around Christmas but they fell through. I prayed to God that the best birthday present ever would be her getting a job she'd love and would get her going again in life...and take pressure off of me, to be honest.

NAH NAH NAH NAHNAH NAH NAH NAHNAH Today is my birthday (for real!), she had a successful interview today for her dream job with Technicolor (yes, THAT Technicolor!) and she's got it! She starts for them next week!!

Awesome AWESOME birthday indeed!!!! I was SOOOO ready for something positive to happen for her and for us like this!

Happy Birthday, now dont go living too extravagant. Main thing we try to stress with some of our veterans that begin working with PG&E and go from having no money to a lot of money.
