So lots of us have played sports and had superstitions when we played. However, I know personally I don't play organized sports anymore but I still have superstitions and wanted to hear some of yours.
Mine are:
-At work I do rotating shift work and since the day of the week is never the same when we start we don't reference days by the day of the week but by the work day for the shift week. For example, day 1, day 2, day 3. However, the last day of the shift week isn't ever spoken or written day 7. Day 7 means that you will have to come in for a critique or something else bad will happen making a day 8.
-When I walk into work every day there is a spot on the wall that hosts the pictures of my immediate chain of command and the picture of the Admiral of Naval Reactors. It became a superstition for me to tap his picture twice every time I walk into work just like Notre Dame taps their sign coming out of the tunnel.
