I cheated and looked up the movie.

Not really just for the sake of the game, but the woman in the photo was killing me. I wasn't sure if I knew her from some other movie or if she just reminded me of someone else. After looking her up I'm pretty sure that I don't know her from any other movies. I think that the actress that she reminds me of is Madchen Amick. Either way that's a nice lookin' lady.

I first saw "The Thing From Another World" when I was a kid at a sleepover at my friend's house. It was a rerun on some monster movie channel at the time. It just had that b&w creepy feel to it, from the moment they found (and outlined) the space craft to the outpost where most of it was shot. But, later when I saw it I learned to love the way they did the dialogue/interplay throughout.... it was like real life conversation. It is nothing like John Carpenter's The Thing, nor was it meant to be. If you've never seen it, it's worth a look.
