Only place I trade games at is Best Buy. They frequently run 100% trade in bonus deals and being a RZ member it makes sense.

After I beat a game I never feel the urge to play again. Gears of War is the only game I hang onto after beating. That's only because I play the game mainly for its multiplayer.

Keep in mind I almost never pay $60 for a game. $30 is usually the price point I shoot for. Normally receive around half back after trade. Good enough for me.

I play sports games all the time, but not once have i ever noticed what shoes my virtual nba players were wearing, or what kind of facemask my virtual nfl player was wearing. I don't understand why people go so crazy over them.

100% agree.

I find it hilarious whenever we have Madden/NCAA where the line play is atrocious, safeties/corners seem to have no idea what's going on half the time, running backs pulling a Mark Sanchez when they get near an offensive lineman's ***..

I sort of understand where you guys are coming from about the player equipment complaints, but at the same time some people don't have an issue with how the game actually plays and their only concern may be getting an authentic look for their "my player" mode guy.

I just try to see it from both sides of the fence. I do agree some people blow it out of proportion. Something like shoes isn't too important to me in a game, but I do want certain face masks and correct uniforms.

I've been bitching for years because EA can't seem to get ahold of the right fight song for Auburn. Is there some issues with gameplay, yep.. and there always will be, but getting that fight song right is something that can be fixed for good.

Everyone wanting completely realistic gameplay are asking for something we likely won't ever see, much like the people wanting every little piece of equipment added.. Everyone is so quick to compare games to The Show, yet Baseball is a completely different animal than football, when trying to emulate it in a game.

I get the feeling that SCEA's version of a football game wouldn't be anywhere near as good as people think.

Anyways, I'll quit talking about **** that could potentially hijack the thread.

It's not just The Show though. Basketball, Baseball, Soccer, Hockey all have a game that, at least imo, does a much better job of replicating the sport than the football games are doing. And I think the 2K football games were definitely on the right track and if that series continued we would be way better off now.

I do agree that a lot of people have too high expectations for sports games, but I also think that football games haven't been up to par when you compare them to the other sports.

Right... Play 2k's MLB game or Sonys old NBA game and come back to me. Just because a company does one thing well does not mean they can do everything well. Just as EA has shown with their great hockey/soccer games, but can't get the same level in basketball or football.
