 Re: Uncommon Opinions

I don't understand how you can hate someone you don't know personally. Or maybe you do know him personally? I guess I shouldn't assumeComment

 Re: Uncommon Opinions

The logic being that what you "hate" now is just a perception of a person created by media and other opinions...and possibly not even remotely accurate.

I would submit however that there is a greater chance of certain characteristics being present in people who have or need to put themselves in a position to have a media/public persona. Most top athletes are cocky because confidence is a plus in competition...Talented people are better than average people (at least in their field), and people with money tend to spend it differently than those without as much.

If you hate the trait that is present then I don't see why hating the person is off limits.Comment

 Re: Uncommon Opinions

I never understood the mosh pit mentality.

Then again I've never really been a fan of the music that brings them (heavy metal types, some rap or whatever, etc)...Seems like mosh pits are just douches trying to appear "tough".

Well, I'm a fan of some stuff, but not enough to go to the concert in the mosh pits for sure.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

 Re: Uncommon Opinions

I wouldn't think Primus would draw the mosh pit crowd, but I was surprised.

 Re: Uncommon Opinions

I just don't buy the notion that I have to know someone to hate them. There are plenty of people I don't know personally that I hate. And there's nothing wrong with that at all. Claiming someone has to know someone to actually hate them is fantasy-land nonsense. Quite frankly, it's absurd. What, am I supposed to not hate the Sandy Hook shooter (for example) because I don't know him? Is Kanye West automatically not a punk douchebag because I don't know him even though that's what he shows to anyone and everyone? The logic being that what you "hate" now is just a perception of a person created by media and other opinions...and possibly not even remotely accurate.
