Re: Uncommon Opinions
How is me saying I don't like pit bulls any more of a generalization than those saying small dogs are worse tho? Double standard much?Comment

Uncommon Opinions
Think you should re-read the ridiculous generalization you made
EDIT: Also, I highly doubt anyone would've even blinked if you simply said "I don't like pitbulls" or just left it at "I hate dogs". It's an Uncommon opinion

Re: Uncommon Opinions
No one said anything like that about small dogs at all.
Do you really not see a difference in the generalization you made versus what others did?
And I'm not a dog person. Only own cats but your post was a ridiculous generalization.Comment

Re: Uncommon Opinions
Excuse me if I went overboard but every pit bull I'VE ever met has been either an attack dog or in dog fighting. Maybe I should have clarified that as the perspective I speak from. I fear those things. I never will like a pit bull. Again, my personal experience with them paints that.
And isn't this thread called "uncommon opinions"?
And I know owners train dogs. It's still easier to train a pit as a protect dog than a Chihuahua.Comment

It's just a false statement to say they are all vicious attack animals.
It would be like me saying it's my opinion that the world is flat.Comment

Every (or very close to every) German Shepherd I've met has been timid as hell. And I've met a lot. But I also know enough about them to know that they are trained to be police dogs, etc. so I won't say "ALL German shepherds are wusses!" (How ridiculous would that sound?)

Re: Uncommon Opinions
At the time I made that post (my original one) I'd just been nearly attacked by a pit...so my opinion was jaded by that lol. I'll just leave it at "I hate pit bulls". Can't argue with others that disagree nor can I defend my original comment. I still hate those sobs and dogs in general tho lolComment

Some what related, she was mixed with....some other breed, never knew what...which gave her this weird wolf like appearance. I seriously got questioned too many times am I walking a wolf. Sadly lost all the pics I had of her and my three now deceased cats

Uncommon Opinions
I used to not like small dogs until my wife got her dog.
I'll also never own a pit bull or a cat. I do find it sad when we go to the pound and see all of the pit bulls. At least half of them are pit bulls.MLB: Texas Rangers

Re: Uncommon Opinions
Piggybacking off the OT conversation:
I don't consider people who commuted as "going to college". They went to school/took classes.
Going to college, to me, means living on campus/just off campus and partaking in the entire situation/environment.Comment

Re: Uncommon Opinions
I tend to agree. Part of college, at least when I think about my experience, has to do with leaving the house for the first time. If I was commuting the experience would have been so different.YNWAComment
