I myself never been into younger or my own age females. I was always into older females. But to me anyway seeing older dudes with women several years younger then them is quite the norm and been that way for thousands of years.
Older males are seen as the protectors and providers. Younger females are seen as the baby makers because they are more fertile. Go over seas and you will see this practiced a lot. You will see families marry off their teen aged daughters to men in their 30s and 40s without a second thought.
Now in the USA, the gap typical isn't that big, on average maybe the guy is about 3 or 5 years older then the female. But you look at Hollywood and the sports world, that gap is way bigger. Guy is usually in his 50s married to or dating a chick in her 30s or late 20s.
To each their own though. What makes you happy is all that matters.
