I like sausage, but it don't like me. We used to be such great friends when I was 25, but there's a war now between me and sausage. Its winning that war and does funny things to my stomach now that it didn't do twenty years ago. I don't want a truce, I just want to win again. But them days are gone lol.

So yeah, bacon > sausage on breakfast sandwiches, I'll give you on that one.

Sadly I am with you, I often end up throwing bacon or sausage away and I never used to do that. I just can't do it as much as I used to.

Always got bacon in supply in the fridge. Only time I don’t is when I rotate sausage in for a change. Lol

Bacon is good of course and I eat it regularly, but the "thingification" of bacon always annoyed the **** out of me.

It's too much, and I'm a bacon lover. I have found, and maybe this is an old person or a me-thing, that when something is too common that it becomes devalued to me.

I love bacon and yes I'll eat it on a lot of things, but the push for it to be on everything is like, cmon, lol.

And let's be honest here, bacon is best when it's one on one, like George Michael used to sing...

I hate them and I won't use them. I can go inside and get what I want faster. I don't care if it's the bank or getting food or just grabbing a cup of coffee. The only way I will use one is if there is a max of one car in front of me.

Same. I prefer to look someone in the eye face to face when I do business with them. Maybe when I'm too old to walk, I'll start using drive thru's but as long as I'm able, I'm willing to go inside.

Exactly! I did use the drive thru yesterday but only because I had the dog with me and I didn't want to leave him in the hot car.

One thing from a TV commercial that I guess is uncommon since they had to explicitly explain to people their product taste is spicy/hot food and how spicy it is.

Whenever people think of spicy food it seems like everyone either expects or wants it to be the spiciest item ever where all you can taste is the spice/pepper and that's it.

I hate those kinds of foods and spice levels.

So in that tv ad, they're telling people "it's not mouthwatering spicy. It's spicy, but that's not all you can taste, you can taste the food too." Which is what I agree with more. I like putting pepper in some stuff I eat, but I like finding the right blend so it has just enough where I can tell there's pepper in it, but not too much where that's all (or most) of what I taste.

Earth's moon needs a new name. We have given all the other planets moons names but we haven't bothered to name our own. We just call it the moon, like we are so self-centered we forget there are a ton of other moons out there.

This is like having a dog and naming him... dog.

If this ever came to a vote among actual individual people, the outcome could be potentially hilarious and sad all at the same time.

In Latin, it is Luna while the Greeks called her Selene. Egyptians considered the god of the moon Thoth. I like the name Luna.
