Re: Uncommon Opinions
Yeah if we talking last meal I guess Id go big. But for some regular dinner, Im not spending more than 20 bucks on a meal. Even that is pushing it. A 60 dollar steak better last me a week for that cash.Comment

Re: Uncommon Opinions
I've spent upwards of 100 bucks a couple times. SMH. It's usually for birthday dinners with the guys, where we all pitch in and pay for the birthday guy. That's what I get for living here with friends with expensive tastes, lol. So dumb even though it's nice once in a while. The amount of money spent on food is INsane.Comment

Re: Uncommon Opinions
Yea, I rarely eat out these days, but living in a college town, it is pretty easy to get a meal and a beer for around $10-$12 with tip. But when I've gone out with the girlfriend, it was pretty easy to spend $40-$50 and get just two meals. It's crazy. No dessert, no appetizer, no drinks. Just two dinners. I prefer to cook at home when possible. Just so much cheaper.Comment

Re: Uncommon Opinions
It isn't awful, but it doesn't interest me either. Half way through the second season I was done with it and never looked back. But then again I was the same way with Sons of Anarchy and Justified. Those shows don't do anything for me.Comment

I can understand that. I just don't get "awful."Comment

Re: Uncommon Opinions
Not really. I had Mastros which is one of, if not the best steakhouse in Los Angeles and wasn't blown away. I've had steak at other expensive steakhouses but not nearly as prestigious and came away more impressed.
Being expensive doesn't mean automatic approval via confirmation bias.Comment

Re: Uncommon Opinions
But attractiveness is subjective/arbitrary (90% of the time...the other 10% is just mindboggling low standards) so...Eh. I wouldn't call it THAT uncommon.
