 Re: Uncommon Opinions

Last time I got Chinese, I had just seen that episode. Didn't go with the Kung Pao. Maybe next time.Comment

Yeah, there's definitely other good stuff. All I meant was that Gen. Tso's is easily my favorite. There is a ton you're missing out on if that is all you get. General Tso's is my go-to, but I also love me some beef and broccoli, crab meat rangoon (and the place near me doesn't skimp on the lump crab in them, but you pay about $6 for 8), and depending on the place, the BBQ can be good.MLB: Minnesota Twins

I've still never quite figured out what exactly Moo Goo Gai Pan is.

Chinese for me though would have to be General Tso's Chicken, Beef/Chicken and Broccoli, Sesame Chicken, Bourbon Chicken. Pork fried rice is the way to go for me.Comment

The dish is usually a simple stir-fried dish consisting of sliced or cubed chicken with white button mushrooms and other vegetables. Popular vegetable additions include snow peas, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts and Chinese cabbage.Comment

 Re: Uncommon Opinions

Oh lord I'm getting hungry for chinese and it's not even 9am. The place I go to has a bunch of good stuff. General Tso's, bourbon chicken, orange chicken, sesame chicken, spring rolls, dumplings...... I only alow myself to go there once a month though, any more and I'd probably die at the age of 40.Battle.net: xXKING08Xx

Put it to you like this, I'm not paying $15 + for one plate of china food when I can pay $ 8.00 for 36 feet of unlimited bad decisions...EXPERIENCE MAYHEM FOOTBALLComment

 Re: Uncommon Opinions

Wouldn't be surprised if they got some of their stuff from the same vendor. I went to a chinese in my hometown and one 2 hours away, different names and I know now the same owners. Half of the items were identical.Every time I get General Tso, I just think it tastes like orange chicken. Not sure if I'm wrong or if all the Chinese places I try are. Unless they're the same under different names? That wouldn't make sense considering they're two different menu options...

Bourbon chicken is also good, and sometimes a plain beef and broccoli/peapods hits the spot.

Though most of the time I just get Kung Pao.

 Re: Uncommon Opinions

If it were a southern thing, it sort of makes sense since Delaware is half southern. Bourbon chicken is hard to find here. One buffet in downtown has it I believe but I've never seen it on the menu for the delivery places I get.Comment
