Let's just hope it doesn't take the EXACT same route.

Makes me want to venture out and do a Hindenburg re-creation.

If I'm not mistaken, there was a straight to DVD film a couple of years ago that was "Titanic 2". The plot was they built a second titanic based on the first because obviously that one went so well, and, well...:

The Hindenberg fire and destruction was more fluke than anything else. The Titanic wreck was more of a "oh this ship can never sink" silliness from the captain and whatnot.

This is pretty interesting though and I have a morbid fascination to the point that if the price was right i'd go on it.

No, a highly flammable gas igniting isn't a fluke, it's an inevitability.

The Hindenberg wasn't some random, unforeseeable disaster.

I think it's okay to say both were disasters.

I'd get a 3rd class ticket for this. I wonder if it will operate weekly like a normal cruise ship. I assume since they have to pay for the thing.

Does it at least have enough life boats this time?

No thanks. I already know how that story plays out.

That's pretty cool. I've always wanted to take a ride on Titanic. The prices, even for third class cabins, will be incredibly expensive, but they will still make a boat load of money.

                          Pun fully intended.

The article does state there will be enough life boats. The thing still has to abide by today's regulations.

Good point, but I believe Zeppelin fight had been around for a good decade or more prior to The Hindenberg without a flame out of such proportions. At least with a modern recreation they could use helium would would make the whole flammability issue moot.
