Re: Official OS Sports Card Collecting Thread

Yes. They should be right by the cards.

And redsrule is right. Don't expect much, you might get lucky. I pulled a relic out of a pack of Topps this year that had some damage in on the card and sold for $23. In mint it was going for $43 on ebay. But in general, packs from Walmart give you less odds of good hits than hobby packs or boxes. Especially if you want to be a hit-seaker. I try to get packs from my local shop knowing I have a much better chance for autos and better parallels. Your best bet is to buy hobby boxes where you are guaranteed hits.Last edited by PVarck31; 06-22-2014, 08:15 PM.Comment

Re: Official OS Sports Card Collecting Thread

Is there anything special with the "top 100" or "Franchise" cards in the 2014 Score football packs. Picked a few top 100's and a LeSean McCoy Franchise card.

Re: Official OS Sports Card Collecting Thread

Seems like you're new to this(not a problem)

Here's a primer, those 20 buck boxes at wally world/target are called blaster boxes. Most of the time they are a waste of money. Usually the goal is the grab hits. Blaster rarely have them, or if they do just one per box.

A hit is an auto, or a numbered card

 Examples included

 (autos)

 (Numbered)

If you are looking for resale value, hits is what you need. Anything else is nice, but worthless for the most part.Comment

If you really want to get hits, then a hobby box or jumbo box is the way to go.Comment

Re: Official OS Sports Card Collecting Thread

Say I pull a Derek Jeter autographed game used card. Is that one of a kind, or will there be more?

Re: Official OS Sports Card Collecting Thread

Well, if it is numbered, then there are that number of cards it says it goes to. For example, 15/99.

If it isn't numbered, then there were a lot made.Comment
