I also got a Starlin Castro game used card on Ebay. Good find for me.

          Ryan,

When it comes to cards, let me just say that if you are in this to make money off of the cards you get, then you are wasting your time. (I'm not saying you are, just making the point.)

This is an expensive hobby that has very minimal returns. Autos are what make money, but its gotta be someone collectible too, so its a double whammy. I have a whole bunch of autos sitting in a box that would probably sell for $10-20 if I'm lucky.

Basically what I'm trying to say is just have fun with it, and don't expect much. That way when you do get something it will be awesome.

Oh and those Topps cards you are buying, I would personally buy Bowman instead. They are about the same price, and you have a better chance for autos, numbered cards, and parallels.

          Just my thoughts and opinions.

Stopped by the mall in South Bend again the other day. Bought two packs of 1993 Fleer for a dollar a piece. Finally got the Larry Johnson Rookie Sensation card I was always hoping to pull when I was in 3rd grade.

It's everything I thought it would be.

I don't really care if they're worth anything at the moment. Just trying to build up a collection.

I also have a question. For the different sports, what are the different sets of cards that come out throughout the year?

Here's a great site that will give you info about sets and release dates. And tons of other info for that matter. http://www.cardboardconnection.com/

Would the Bowman football cards coming out be worth getting?

The best low-end football set, value wise.

Where can I order this online that doesn't charge outrageous prices for shipping?
