Official OS Sports Card Collecting Thread

    Variety,
Picked up most of the Top Cubs prospects, all the big ones but Almora.(Most are bowman chrome)
    Alshon Jeffreys RC
Paddy Kane and Duncan Keith RCs

And then I ****ed around and picked up Peter Warrick and Charlie Ward fb cards cause they are my fav FSU guys.

Gonna go back and pick up some Deron Williams RCs and some more BlackHawks

Also probably gonna hit up my card shop and see what they have tomorrow.
Don't you EVER read my blog? It's gotten a lot better.

Nice. Are the Chromes still warped? I have some 2009, and all the cards have a bend to them.

I remember being pumped about Warrick coming to the NFL. I thought he was destined to be a prettay good NFL WR.

I got this from the box of heritage I opened yesterday.

I'm jealous of that Markakis, being an Oriole fan. You guys are killing me, I have no money right now but want to go buy some packs so bad now.

Here are a few of my favorite cards I have pulled out of packs before.

I was also looking through earlier some of my "random" boxes b/c of this thread and I found a 5/5 Bob Gibson UD Masterpieces base card that was put in there. I learned a lot about the players when I was younger from the back of baseball cards. Even though I can't collect much right now, it is still nice to look every once in a while at what I have.

Also whenever I can get a decent camera to take a picture of all my cards, I will. I have a decent sized closet that is full of boxes, which most of them my dad & I organized into teams years ago.

Any time that I pull a card out of a pack that's worth like 50-100+ I feel like such a winner.

Even that Ripken now has a book value of like 150.

I'm like you with the back of cards - I learned a lot as a kid from them, and still like checking them out to this day.

You're not very likely to pull autographs and relic cards in those jumbo packs. It's very very hard. The best way to get guaranteed autographs and relics is with hobby boxes and jumbo boxes.

Or from Heritage in general. Heritage is more of a set builders line. Even in a jumbo pack, double check to see if you got any short prints or the like.
