This is going to sound pathetic, but almost every day I wish I was back with my ex, and we broke up 2 years ago. She was the one girl I truly loved, that I still love, and I can't help but feel we'd still be together had we not let our emotions get the best of us.

A friend gave me her number a few days ago, but I can't text her. She has a boyfriend and a kid now, and I don't want to be the ******* to try and split that up just for my own selfish desires.

The thing is that doesn't bother me. If she left her boyfriend, said she wanted me back, I would take her back in a heartbeat, kid or no kid. Should her having a kid bother me?

Nope, not because there is a hatred, but because we just drifted apart as time passed. Kinda like an old friend. But once in a blue moon one will hit me up to see whats good. No big.

I'm on good terms with most of them, but I don't talk to any of them on a regular basis.

Dated a girl my freshman year of college (2 years ago). I don't regularly talk to her, but we are friends on facebook, I do let her know whenever I come home because we 'hang out' once in a while.

I tried to stay friends with my last one after the breakup. After a few months, it became clear she was still deceiving/using me even in friendship. So I cut the cord completely. Haven't talked to her in a year and a half.

We have mutual friends, and I found out from one of them that she got engaged over Christmas. I feel bad for the dude, and I'm incredibly grateful I'm not the one in his position.

Ummm we going to need the back story on this one. To wish harm on somebody = they really F'ed up your head.

She was making some pot roast and I said I didn't want any but she cooked it anyway. I decided to microwave pizza instead of eating the pot roast. She got mad and took the pizza out before it was done. So I said screw this I'm going to Taco Bell. On my way to the door she punched me in the face. It knocked off my glasses and made my face swell up. I tackled her to the ground and went upstairs.

The neighbors called the cops so when I went back downstairs there were 5 Air Force cops in my living room (I was living on an Air Force base at the time). The put me in handcuffs in the back of the cop car and she was on a stretcher in the ambulance due to a concussion. With my whole neighborhood watching.

I went to the holding place and gave my statement. They release me with no charges and the Anchorage PD arrested her when she got out of the hospital.

She was charged with assault and I bailed her out of jail. Due to Alaska state law. The state charges the assaulter for domestic violence cases and I went to court to get them to drop the charges as I still wanted to work things out.

A few months after they got dropped we got divorced.

I only stayed close with one of my exes after breaking up, and we both realized that it was a bad idea to stay as close as we did.

We were pretty much best friends for a year before we started dating, we dated for 6 months, she had a history of cheating and was worried she would cheat on me, and we both agreed that being friends was probably the better idea (mostly because I was worried about if I could trust her when we first started dating, and her being worried about cheating on me just confirmed my worries).

We went 3 or 4 months without talking at all after the break up (but I'd be lying if I said I didn't hate it).

Anyway, she and I started talking a lot again, trying to rekindle our friendship, we start hanging out again (bad idea), I started hanging out with her at her house at night, just us (worse idea), one thing led to another...well, you get where I'm going with this.

We talked about it the next day, and just decided we probably couldn't just be "good friends". A few days later, she's dating another guy, out of the blue..so, from then on, we rarely talked.

We still talk when she's in town or if I'm around her way; arrange to hang out at a bar with mutual friends or something...nothing more than casual meetings, just to catch up.
