      Just an update...

Here in Vegas now. Last night got in late and didn't check in to the hotel until 8. Went out to a club called Surrender and got comp'd table and bottle service which was great...met a few chicks...and lets just say the first night was very successful...lol

Now Im laying in bed with a terrible headache. Haha.

I was also wondering if any of you know much about betting on horses? I want to solely because the Kentucky derby is this weekend. So I just want to jump in on the fun.

        Place was unreal.

Couple other suggestions for any potential visitors. For breakfast, find a place called "White Cross Drugs"

It was an old pharmacy turned diner, outside the strip. Breakfast was incredible.

Secondly, if you are looking for a good steak dinner. Scratch that, the best steak dinner you'll have in Vegas, go to the Golden Steer. Best prime rib I've ever had in my life. The atmosphere is very nostalgic. Something out of an old mobster movie, which is perfect, because it was actually owned by the mob in the 50s. Service is top notch and I def suggest a side caesar salad. The dressing is home made and probably the best I've ever had.

There is also this little dive bar/casino called Ellis Island. It's kind of a piece of crap, but the experience is fun. They have karaoke and when you're hammered at 3 in the morning, watching that and shooting the **** with locals is a lot of fun. Plus they have $5 dollar blackjack tables inside, which was clutch.

Also, if you're between the age of 23-30, get to the Encore, and get their fast. I've never seen so much talent in one location. My gawd.

Why did they comp you table/bottle service? Seems odd for some random dude to get that, or were you with the chicks at the time?

I'm going the second weekend of June (24 years old). Went there two years ago and came out over $300 on top. I don't think lightning strikes in the same place twice, though.

If you are already down $900 and you have a chance to throw your last $100 on Victor Cruz to catch the first TD of Superbowl XLVI...do it, it'll save your trip.

After reminiscing with my buddies for the past two days, I've discovered what I want my life to be like, and it involves a lot of Encore's casino and a lot of Spearmint Rhino.

                    That is all.

I have a friend that recently moved out there that went out with us that night. I guess he knew somebody at that club. We just had to bring girls in with us. Had a table and bottle service at no cost. Not bad. Lol

It was real good man. Hit up Surrender the night we arrived. Haze Thursday (struck out that night though. Smh). Got free entry and comp'd drinks at Pure Friday. Saturday Chateau and went with these chicks we met there to the much revered Spearmint Rhino. Sunday was at the newest club there Hakkasan where Tiesto was Djing. Pretty sick spot.

Won money betting on the Warriors. Lost money betting against Mayweather (I know. I know. Lol). Lost money betting on the Kentucky Derby. Thats what I get knowing damn well I dont know jack squat about horse racing. Lol

Also hit up a pool party with Busta Rhymes. He was live as hell. So that was dope. And the females were looking RIGHT.

All in all. I had a good *** time.

So I was thinking, wouldn't it be awesome to have an OS Vegas takeover!? You know, set up a time where we all could schedule a trip there. You wouldn't even necessarily have to come alone. You could go with your "real life" friends/significant other (lameo's), but know that your OS homies will be there too.

I'm actually kind of surprised that with the community we have here, there hasnt been many group meets set up before. At least, not that I've noticed. Seems like something a lot of us would be down for. Or maybe i'm wrong about that?

I haven't been to Vegas since I was 12 and that's really no fun. If there was a halfway cost effective way for me to go, I would consider it.

I don't mean not spend money, just a few pointers to keep the trip fun and enjoyable and within a few grand.

I really have been wanting to do something big, since I won't have a chance for a long time after November.

Honestly, the most expensive part of Vegas are the flights out there. Everything else is relatively cheap because they want to hook you into gambling.

Sans flights, you can spend a weekend in Vegas for under 300-350.
