Two week notice letter for a transfer
I found plenty of Google hits for how to write a two week notice for leaving to a new company or resigning, but I am just moving to a different area of our company. So I was trying to figure out what to put in a letter for that type of leave. The manager knew it was coming and might actually have been told by my new director, but I still wanted to write a letter along with telling him. Heck, do I even need to do one in this case or should I just tell him in person? It will be more out of professional courtesy then them struggling to replace me.Tags: None -
Re: Two week notice letter for a transfer
Never been in this situation but I would think just telling him in person would be fine. Youre just going to a different part of the company so I dont see any reason to write a letter.MLB: Texas Rangers
Soccer: FC Dallas, Fleetwood Town
NCAA: SMU, UTA
NFL: Dallas Cowboys
NHL: Dallas Stars
NBA: Dallas Mavericks

Yeah no need to write a letter at all. You could just send him a "Deal With It" meme in e-mail.Originally posted by J. ColeFool me one time that's shame on you. Fool me twice can't put the blame on you. Fool me three times, **** the peace sign, load the chopper let it rain on you.

Re: Two week notice letter for a transfer
Anyway just moving to a different department or whatever, just talk to the person, its not really necessary to write a letter ... i've moved to different places in my current company and never had to do that.Comment
