Re: Terrorist Attack at the Boston Marathon
I don't want to be that guy that sticks up for this kid but he is innocent until proven guilty. Even with all the evidence against him he doesn't deserve to be strung up right away. If he is found with weapons then yeah they will shoot him but still. The authorities should ignore all the other citizens rights? Granted yeah they are allowing them to search their homes voluntarily but that is a little concerning watching from the outside.
He's "innocent" until "proven guilty", yes. We have to get his *** to go any further and make sure that he IS proven guilty. Because he is.Comment

Re: Terrorist Attack at the Boston Marathon
How in the world are they taking this too far?! There is a TERRORIST loose, with explosives and weapons, in one of the most populated and famous cities in our country. There is no limit to what the authorities should do to find this piece of ****. He detonated explosives on American soil. Move Heaven and Earth and find this ****er and bring him to justice.NFL:Packers
MLB:Reds/Tigers
NHL:Red Wings
NCAA:Michigan Wolverines.
F-1: Ferrari.
It's been a while OS. Hope all are doing well!Comment

Re: Terrorist Attack at the Boston Marathon
There isn't something else they are hiding. The shelter-in-place conserves their resources and overall, just makes this easier. If at the end of the night they find him, I'd say postponing the game until tomorrow is the smart decision.Comment

Re: Terrorist Attack at the Boston Marathon
Again, you throw "innocent until proven guilty" out the window when you rob a gas station, shoot someone, and then steal a vehicle and hurl explosives out of the window at law enforcement.
That alone, not including the extreme likely hood that this ******* is responsible for what happened at the Marathon, is enough to classify someone as a piece of **** that needs to be stopped and brought to justice immediately.
I don't see how you think they are handling this wrong.Comment

By the way, they are still finding bombs across the city. But let's let the public freely walk through the streets.Too Old To Game Club

They are not encroaching on anyone's rights. They are protecting people by keeping them off the streets when there is a terrorist who has already shown he can blow up a bomb in public.
I live here. I know people (my sister included) stuck in their houses, not working, etc. and not a single person feels like this is too much that I've talked to. You don't just say "Oh, hey Boston - we haven't found him yet in 12+ hours. We're gonna take a break and see if something happens to help us." You find this terrorist and you either apprehend him or, if he doesn't want to go easily, you treat him like the piece of **** he has proven to be this week.Comment

Re: Terrorist Attack at the Boston Marathon
People are already scared here. Nobody around here has a problem with how things are being handled. I think we'd be more scared if we were wandering around the city with suspect #2 on the loose still, free to kill innocent civilians.New England Patriots

Re: Terrorist Attack at the Boston Marathon
Yea, not sure why they are locking down an entire city. I too also believe their is something more they are not telling us and or misleading the media on purpose. I can't imagine their are that many places he can stay hidden for this long. Just doesn't make sense to me.Comment

Re: Terrorist Attack at the Boston Marathon
I'm from the outside looking in and what I see are two terrorists who blew up the Boston Marathon, killing 3 people including an 8 year old boy, maiming dozens of others, robbing a store, killing an MIT officer, having a firefight with officers using weapons including grenades, and causing unbelievable chaos in an American city.
Sorry if I don't sympathize with those who are so confused that they don't know how to feel after knowing all that. Cut and dry to me how I'd feel after learning that about one of my friends. But hey, I'm different.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

Re: Terrorist Attack at the Boston Marathon
This is being handled properly. If anyone criticizes the fact that the city is shutdown and thousands of officers are on site...IDK what to say.
Law enforcement gets such a bad rap. If they slip up and someone dies, they're crucified...if they shoot and kill a criminal, they're bashed for being trigger happy.
I can't imagine the stress levels in that job...here I am stressed about hitting deadlines and ****...SMH.Comment

Re: Terrorist Attack at the Boston Marathon
They are still finding bombs in the area. They do not have the person who set the bombs.
You don't let the public just go on with their daily lives when they are still under attack.

I'm all for innocent until proven guilty but the first priority is to protect the public which is what they're doing.Comment

They are trained for the job and know what they're getting into
That said, there has been alot of misinformation given over the air waves in the last few days along with everything happening.
I can't say if its being handled wrong or not but if someone is sitting back and watching all of their protocols and procedures then woooooComment
