Actually, I read somewhere that this man who got injured and lost both of his legs actually helped confirm both suspects.

Of course, they blow up his face on a magazine cover instead of a policeman who deserves recognition for his work.

        Here's the story. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-0...attackers.html

Seems very poetic to me that he had a hand in nailing them.

          Boston... You're awesome.

I feel ashamed of myself for thinking there was more to the story... I need to not get caught up in that crap. I never thought him and his brother were not responsible, but admittedly had a hard time trusting, partly because the news I was getting was sparse because I was at work last night. I didn't know they were throwing bombs at the cops until earlier today.

Collectively, the mutual teamwork put forth today by Law Enforcement in Boston and various other organizations was top notch. They owned him.

Now, hopefully more intel is gained and when that happens, I pray justice is swiftly delivered.

God bless Boston and everyone involved in this terrible tragedy.

Sure, we shut down a major city for a whole day. To me, that just shows we're going to do what it takes to get you. I think the FBI, Boston police and Massachusetts police did a hell of a job.

Yeah I don't think they should ever do that. They shouldn't give him publicity or mention his name any more than necessary.

                  Great post.
Simply shows what we will do in order to bring these types of people to justice.
Awesome job that when you take the time to soak in the whole ordeal, shows what resolve and determination the police and other officials have.

I don't really look at the clips from Watertown as celebrating the capture of a fugitive. I see as an apprecition for the work of all the law enforcement officials and uniting as a community as we did for 9/11. These people were holed up in their homes for 24 hours and there was a sense of relief once they could go back and live their lives as before.

Heck, I vividly recall horns honking in our community as uniting people for 9/11.

Both incidents were terrible acts of violence.

And they did so methodically, and didn't implicate and go after anyone who was truly innocent. That's a big win in my book. No need to go tracking down suspects if you aren't certain.

I'd be embarrassed to live in a country that would just let someone like that run around without doing everything possible to bring them in.

Someone said it makes us "vulnerable".

No, what makes you vulnerable is living somewhere where everyone knows that you won't do everything possible to bring a terror suspect in. What makes you vulnerable is living somewhere where people know if they do something like this, the entire city/state/providence/country will give up after a short period of time.

People who want to know why it happen often refuse to hear the answer. Stop interviewing classmates. It's like interviewing kittens about yarn. That poor dead cop. I don't need to know that the weak excuse for a human who shot him had a strong relationship with his brother. Save it for Dr. Phil. The coward placed a bomb next to a child. I don't need to know why. Because why will not change the fact that he placed a bomb next to a child.
