It's more to do with the story of the store that's putting a temporary halt on selling pressure cookers out of sensitivity to victims.
It's incredible, what's next Nike stops selling black backpacks ? Home Depot stops selling carpenter nails and ball bearings ? It's 100% a publicity stunt. It's sickening a company would do this in light of this tragedy.

If you wanna actually show caring for the victims, donate to the fund that's actually helping instead of drawing attention to yourself.

I may or not work right next to that one company. That's pretty overboard.

              It would fall under:

              Drug/Political/Racial/Religious/Sexual Related Talk
There are to be NO racial, political, religious, drug related or sexual talk or attacks at Operation Sports. We have a multitude of posters here, and not everyone shares the same views on life as you. To minimize issues between posters, none of these topics will be tolerated on the boards.
Talking about conspiracy stuff falls out of the scope of the purpose of this thread, which was started (as an exception) to monitor a very serious breaking news event. We trusted OS users with being able to handle discussion of this topic and for the most part, it has gone swimmingly. Discussion of other things simply can't happen, and is not allowed as part of the "exception" that this thread was based on.

Lucky enough this is still open. No need to push it.

It seems that those restrictions may have once been there but are now lifted; they're referenced in the OS Arena/Blogs section. I don't see the rules laid out anywhere though. Maybe I'm missing something.

Agreed. If you're going to push a conspiracy theory at least have it be feasible both in the logic behind it and the logistics needed to pull it off.

In today's age of digital and social media, and people vying for their 15 minutes of fame, actually pulling off a far out conspiracy without a ridiculously limited amount of people involved and operational security is very difficult if not next to impossible. In today's Information Age as we've all learned or should have learned keeping a secret is becoming harder and harder.

That post hasn't been touched since 2010...

I'll ask him; the restrictions are not listed in the actual TOS.

Come on, if you think this is something that could have been planned for and laid out in the TOS you are fooling yourself.

And I KNOW that isn't the case with you which means you are just trying to stir the pot which I wouldn't expect out of someone who was banned and allowed back in.

The fact is we don't need it listed in the TOS. No one was banned or warned for it because of that and all that matters is a mod asked you to stop. To call him out on it is ridiculous.

                              Drop it.

Those are the current Terms of Service, that's why. If Millennium changes the TOS, that post will be updated.
