Haha I'm a little starstruck... The dude is a hell of a guitarist and singer, one of the inspirations for playing the guitar myself. What a humble guy.

Well I finished the drawing.

I was really into art up until probably 9th grade, and the year was 2001, I think it was I was probably to hard on myself. I tend to be a hardcore perfectionist. But I use to draw all time from Elementary school on. I'd draw mostly sports related stuff. I remember prior to the Houston Texans having a logo or uniforms, a local newspaper had a contest for children and you had to create a logo & uniforms for them. I spent a good amount of time on that. I honestly, I don't remember what the prize was or what the benefit of it was but I had fun doing it. I wished I had made a copy of it prior to mailing it into the newspaper.

I do have a friend who paints. Boy, does she have some serious skills. Well at least that's my opinion, but I may be biased since she's a friend. I'll have to see if I can come across any photos of her paintings and put them up here for everyone to see.

And my 10 year old niece loves to draw & do art related stuff. During the summer she'll most of her time doing some kind of art related thing. And I think they're really, really good.

Self-portrait I had to do for class. Starts off mostly representational, goes more abstract with geometric shapes, then goes completely non-objective with a Mondrian-like influence.
