Re: Areas to visit in Myrtle Beach?
Haven't been to the Myrtle/N. Myrtle area in over 20 years, but a couple places we always went were Barefoot Landings which has a whole bunch of shops and stuff and Dick's Last Resort which is a restaruant with a really fun atmosphere. Those are both in N. Myrtle I think, but shouldn't be to far out of your way. Have fun.Steelers : IX, X, XIII, XIV, XL, XLIII
Penguins : 1990/91, 1991/92, 2008/09, 20015/16, 2016/17

Panthers (FB): 1915, 1916, 1918, 1929, 1931, 1934, 1936, 1937, 1976

Re: Areas to visit in Myrtle Beach?
Broadway at the Beach is a must hit place.
Maybe see what's going to be going on at the House of Blues while you're there and check it out.
There is this place called Wonderworks that is really fun. It's an amusement park for the mind, as its slogan says.Last edited by st0rmb11; 04-29-2013, 05:19 PM.

Re: Areas to visit in Myrtle Beach?
Crocodile Rocks at Broadway at the beach is pretty cool. The Ripley's Aquarium is probably the 2nd best aquarium that I've been to besides the one in Atlanta.
The Nascar Cafe/Speed Park, Planet Hollywood, and the Hard Rock Cafe are not worth the money or the time.
If you are a baseball fan checkout a Myrtle Beach Pelicans game if they are at home.- LETS GO RED SOX!!!

Hey, i'm heading down there this weekend myself.
I would definitely suggest Broadway at the Beach. NASCAR SpeedPark, Huntington Island Lighthouse, Ripleys, Hard Rock Park just to name a few....
This is assuming your going with family though....lolComment

Nope, lol. I'm going with friends family however my 2 friends and I basically can basically do anything at any time. Planning on having a blast all week and just using this thread to get some ideas. But as I said nope I'm not going with family.PS4 Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/candyman5os

Hard Rock Park hasn't been open since 2009...lost a ton of money its first year, was sold and ran by a new owner the next year, and then closed.Comment

Re: Areas to visit in Myrtle Beach?
Hello all, bumping this thread from last year. Its that time again but this time I will be in the Main part of Myrtle off the Board Walk.
Last year I managed to hit:
1. Broadway at the Beach:
Was great ate at 2 great places there. One was this old themed restaurant where they had great Burgers and the best milkshakes. It was like steping back in time when you walked through the door. Everyone had these White and Red outfits on and it reminded you of a old version of Waffle House. Cant remember the name though. EDIT: Mind Fart, Johnny Rockets was the place.
Second place was called The Liberty Steakhouse. I got the Seafood Burger and it was great. Giant portion as well for a small price.
Third place was this Candy Bakery place. They made everything fresh in the store and they had this White Chocolate/Peanut butter Fudge that was so good. Unfortunately this was the last day we were there and I was broke. Lmao.
2. Went to the Ripleys Aquarium and enjoyed it.
3. Went to Captain Jacks all you can eat Seafood Buffet. Great place as well.
4. Went to the Doll House. (Yeah but it was worth it, lol)PS4 Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/candyman5os
