    Mother's Day Gifts?

What sites are the best to send flowers? Experiences with them, good or bad? Any other suggestions? Thinking of sending something for GF's Mom, would probably be a good idea lol.

They are all pretty much the same ... they have "deals" on the flowers, but really kill you on the shipping and the flowers don't come arranged and are in bud form. I've used 1-800 and Proflowers and they have nice guarantees that the flowers will bloom and stay fresh for 1 week or so.

I would look at local shops or online sites that use local shops for the deliveries.

Whatever you do.. don't use ProFlowers. I bought some for Valentines' day (I posted about it here http://www.operationsports.com/forum...post2044715682)

I've used 1800Flowers in the past, and have had good success with them. But Proflowers I will never ever go with them again.

Not sure if they have it in Cali, but have you ever heard of Edible Arrangements http://www.ediblearrangements.com/? Those are always good, especially for healthy, fruit loving wives.

I always struggle getting gifts for this holiday, not sure why.

My wife has been wanting some new running shoes and one of those arm bands to hold her iPhone when she runs. I am not sure if I should get something like that, or something more arts and craft from the kids.

For those that have kids... The past 2 years I have created a calendar through Costco with nothing but kid photos. Wife absolutely loves it, super easy to make and cheap...
