Alright, I'm not going to be staying up that late tonight and since there's been no guesses at all....

Rescue: The Embassy Mission for NES.

Why'd I pick it? Aside from it being a pretty obscure game on the NES that I've actually played, it's one that originally caught my interest because of the 4 different sections of gameplay (3 are in the shots above, and the 4th is a rooftop drop into one of the windows that the sniper clears out). From there it goes to the third person view in the top screenshot.

Hopefully there's enough interest to keep this going...I can toss out a softball before bed if someone wants, or anyone else can go in the meantime.

I think we need to move onto PS1 games or something... I experimented a lot growing up so some of my memory cells have escaped me haha.

That game did have sequels on the PSX.

It's the first Breath of Fire.

Correct. It's the GBA version of it.

EDIT:

And for my entry... Another blast from the Genesis past. Not necessarily military, but the first military type game that ever caught my attention and got tons of play-time.

This makes me want to get Soviet, or Nuclear Strike on PSN. Were they any good? I only played the Genesis games.

I'm not sure. I've only played the Genesis ones. My gaming tastes shifted completely to JRPGs and MMOs starting with the psx and MMO genre birth.
