This reminds me of the old cartoons when the character is running and in the background he passes the same tree/house/car 10 times.

All major News outlets drive me crazy. It's like daflyboys was saying about vloggers, that's all this stuff is. It just seems like you have this 24hour news station just waiting on something big so they can fill their time slots with it. I hate it. I feel like it is a testament to how low we as a society have gone.

While on our cruise we got Headline News as one of our channels.

Dr. Drew has some show where he seriously went person by person through 12 "experts" and asked them for one word opinions on Jodi Arias' tweeting.

We watched a few hours of that channel falling asleep at night and there was absolutely no redeeming value whatsoever. Put us to sleep great though lol.

Can't fully put that on CNN though as it's part of the umbrella but for something like 4-5 years it's pretty much its own entity with their own president. It's pretty much its own thing. The only thing of quality that network had was Joy Behar. I had wondered what happened to her show til I went to Florida and seen that she's taken her act to Current TV.

With all the very important news going on right now, CNN's website today is all about Angelina Jolie and her decision to remove both of her breasts.

CNN is tabloid, sensational news that preys on the "big" story.

Yeah, I know it's not CNN, but I was just shocked at how little content some of these channels deliver.

CNN's more legit, but I never realized Headline News was that bad (I don't think my cable even gets that channel)

All news networks are sensational news that prey on the "big" story to THEIR DEMOGRAPHIC. Depending on who the demographic audience is, what is considered a "big story" varies.

Oh I know, I don't get it on my cable package though. I'd have to upgrade to a higher tier. I also see that my man Lou Dobbs is doing his thing on Fox Business. I really like his style because he isn't strictly a conservative though he comes from that point of view but he'll just as likely attack a conservative as he would a liberal on financial matters and elsewhere. Actually Fox Business has some pretty interesting programming like John Stossell's weekly show.

LOL Robin Meade had a great "which woman is my mom" segment spread across a show one morning. They had 3 people they'd interview pretending to be her mom. Epic hard hitting reporting!

I watch parts of morning shows (local and Today show) and this was atrocious lol

I agree. I was just being specific to the topic of CNN. FOX news can be just as bad, along with CBS etc.
